Fleurieu Peninsula

The valleys and stunning coastline of the Fleurieu is home to some incredible food producers. The Peninsula is abundant with a range of personalities and products that make it truly unique.

Feather & PECK

Feather & PECK hens produce premium pastured free range eggs on the Nash family farm at Yundi and the Byrne family farm at Willunga, Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia. A feather & PECK egg is tasty and comes from hens who enjoy more than 80% of their daylight hours outdoors.

A feather & PECK hen is a happy hen. Our hens forage free in open paddocks by day and roost in mobile trailers by night. They enrich our soil by eating bugs and provide natural fertiliser – frequently moving to new pasture. The hens are protected by Maremma dogs and electric fence netting to keep the predators at bay.

Alexandrina Cheese Company

The McCaul family from Alexandrina Cheese at Mount Compass has lived by the motto that you need to use the best milk to make the best cheese. Every Alexandrina product starts it journey as rich, creamy milk from seventy well-loved and individually named Jersey cows. They are fed on long green clover pasture, grown on the rolling hills of the family farm, located on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia.

Gut Feeling

Gut Feeling was born from a love of food, travel, health and community. Five years ago at the base of volcanic Lake Atitlan Sam discovered the ancient art of fermentation.

Sam works with passionate, ethical farmers to create vibrant, delicious ferments that improve digestive health.

Fleurieu Milk Company

The farmers are the heart and soul of Fleurieu Milk Company. They proudly sources 100% of our milk from local Myponga dairy farmers.

Located on the foothills of the Fleurieu Peninsula the Fleurieu Milk team believe in producing “real milk, how it used to taste”.

Diana Olive Oil

A family business spanning two generations, Diana Olive Oil pioneered the traditional basket press process, using olives grown on the family estate.

The idyllic climate at Willunga, typically Mediterranean with cold winters and long hot summers, favours the creation of very characteristic extra virgin olive oils. Willunga is directly adjacent the renowned McLaren Vale wine producing region, synonomous for producing fine food and wine of hand-crafted quality.

Over the years Diana Olive Oil has evolved to become an important local resource, providing advisory services to olive growers with processing services in a state-of-the-art facility, including bulk storage and automatic bottling.

Loom Designs

Designed in Willunga, South Australia, Loom Designs creates beautiful, considered textiles and homewares - all crafted with natural or repurposed materials, using traditional skills by women in Laos & Cambodia.

Founder and creator, Carol Harrison, is proud to be the only textiles company in Australia to be certified Palm Oil Free.

Graeme started vegetable growing in the Adelaide Hills in 1998 with a whole lot of desire and little experience. Pitchford now employ 40 people and plant about 130,000 plants each week. The key values that drive the business are quality produce, continuity of supply and good customer service.

Pitchford has become the 1st grower in South Australia to be accredited with EnviroVeg Platinum Status (independently audited), promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly growing practices.
